VRC Veenendaal
Veenendaal Racing Club (VRC) was founded in 1952 by a group of enthusiastic people. Although VRC started on the field of triangle Boys, a new field was soon built on the Brinkersteeg. The facilities at that time were not optimal. Changing clothes had to be done in part of the adjacent farmhouse, and washing was done in the cows' drinking troughs. In 1978, the club moved to Sportpark Spitsbergen and VRC has over 1,400 members.
Lockers in the ballroom
VRC has been refurbishing its accommodation for a few years now. For example, Holland Sport Systems has already provided the grandstand with new HSS-E type seats in blue and yellow. Strong growth made the club decide to purchase lockers to professionalize the equipment room. There are now 13 units (52 compartments) of our type M-1000 in the ballroom. In addition, VRC also opted for type F-1000. Of this last type, four units (16 compartments) and a special customized version of 2 high have been placed. Six units of this special version were placed (12 units).
Municipality of Amsterdam
In March 2022, construction of the new Elzenhagen Sports Hall began on behalf of the City of Amsterdam. Last November, the festive opening took place. Elzenhagen is the first sports hall in the Netherlands to have an LED floor. Athletes only see lines they need at that moment. With one hand movement you change the LED floor into an indoor soccer field, a basketball field or into a volleyball field, for example.
Storage of sports equipment
Also in this new sports hall there had to be a possibility to store sports materials. Gemeente Amsterdam chose 6 units (12 compartments) of 600 x 600 mm and 10 units (20 compartments) of our wide lockers 800 x 800 mm. In addition, the municipality wanted a corner of the equipment room to be lockable. We realized this by installing large mesh panels with a lockable sliding door.
