In 2007, Holland Sport Systems installed lockers at field hockey club SV Phoenix in Zeist. Now, 17 years later, it is time for capacity expansion; old lockers are moved and new ones delivered.

First delivery in 2007

Field hockey club SV Phoenix from Zeist belongs to one of the oldest sports clubs in the Netherlands. The club was founded in 1884. At its 125th anniversary in 2009, the club was awarded the Royal Medal of Honor by Queen Beatrix. The club has about 1,500 members of which about half are youth players. In 2007 Holland Sport Systems was approached to see if they had a solution for the storage of goalkeeper bags. In that same year some 72 lockers were delivered and assembled.

Reuse lockers

Now, some 17 years later, the association has purchased new containers to increase its equipment storage capacity. The old lockers delivered in 2007 were disassembled by volunteers from the association and reassembled into the new material containers by the Holland Sport Systems assembly team. Made of high-quality materials, they have stood the test of time and still offer optimal functionality. The robust design has ensured that they can withstand daily use. With this, our lockers have not only proven to last, but they are still easy to de-mount and reassemble after 17 years to create a more efficient layout.

Because expansion of storage of goalie bags was necessary, 12 new units (=48 lockers) of type F-1300 were also placed. The blue lockers you see in the pictures were also placed by us in 2007. These serve as storage for field hockey balls.
