Satisfied members at Golf Park Tervuren

Philippe Smeets, responsible for the course & infrastructure at Belgium's Golf Park Tervuren explains that the demand for golf lockers increased as the club grew in membership. "The members are satisfied with the way they can leave their equipment at the club. In addition, it is a big advantage that they can now come to the club by bike. We as a club are especially satisfied with the quality of the lockers and the correct service"

52 golf lockers at Golf Club Duurswold

As with so many golf clubs, the demand for golf lockers came from the members, said Ria Tepper, board member at Golfclub Duurswold. "There was a huge demand for lockers. Many of our members want to come to the club by bike but with the heavy bag that is not an option. Moreover, there are people who have little space at home to store the rather bulky golf bags. They also have an interest in a locker. As do families who have one car. There are now 52 lockers at the club with very satisfied users. There is now even a waiting list for lockers. Our clubhouse is in full new construction and as soon as this is finished we will look into expanding the locker space."

All golf lockers occupied at Golf Club Ter Specke

"Golfclub Ter Specke is a golf club that uses the FC Lisse soccer fields," explains board member Ruud van der Helm. "Over these soccer fields a golf course has been created with 9 holes. A few years back the decision was made to modernize the entire complex by building a new sports hall, clubhouse and outdoor events. Part of the outdoor event were some containers with different functions, these containers have been replaced by a modular building which includes a space for placement of a number of single and double golf lockers. The lockers meet the demand for storage space for people who want to leave their bags safely at the club. By purchasing the golf lockers, we as a club are meeting the desire for safe, affordable storage for a number of, expensive, golf bags. From the first moment all lockers were occupied and this showed the need for this. For the golf club, this is a significant marketing tool. The knife cuts both ways. The club is very pleased with the placement of the lockers. In the long run, this investment will start generating revenue for the club. The users are happy that they can leave their bags at the club and that their wishes have been taken into account."
