Every sports club has to deal with sports balls disappearing. In addition, balls are often stored in a damp, non-ventilated room so that mold gets a free hand. Partly because of this, new balls have to be ordered every season and that costs money. To keep the cost of materials in your club under control, ball lockers are the solution. A soccer costs about thirty euros each. And these often seem to disappear into thin air. Ball lockers offer a solution.

How does a ball locker work?

Experience has shown that if you make the leader and his team responsible for the training materials, they are handled much more carefully. At the beginning of the season the board hands out the training materials to the leader. For this he signs an "on loan list" showing which materials have been received by him in what numbers. He will hear which locker number has been made available for his team and he will receive a lock to close the locker with.

The leader puts all the training material he has received for his team in his ball locker and locks it with the code, so no hassle with keys. Because the leader and his team are responsible for the equipment, there will be less lending to other teams, more careful checking to see if everything is still there after a practice, and a better search for balls that have ended up in bushes or ditches.

At the end of the season, all materials are returned to the board. The soccer balls can be stored in a ball bag, but can also be placed separately in the ball rack. The advantage of using ball bags in combination with the ball lockers is that you can take the materials to the training field in one go.

A ball locker, also called a ball holder or ball locker, can be locked in several ways. A code padlock is usually used to lock a ball locker. Each leader is given a code padlock by the board that he can use to lock his locker. The leader can assign his own code to the lock. Should the code be forgotten, the lock, and thus the locker, can always be opened again with a master key. Also, with this master key the set code can be retrieved.

Ball lockers, where do you place them?

Lockers are usually placed in the designated ballroom. But should there not be enough space for that, it is also possible to place them in a purchased or rented shipping container. It is also possible to place lockers along a blind wall under a canopy. You don't come across such a ball rack wall much yet, but we have already furnished some of these. If you want more information about this, feel free to call our specialists. We will be happy to help you with a free advice.

Advantages

The fact that training materials are handled more carefully is not the only benefit of the ball locker. Because materials are stored safely under lock and key, other teams cannot borrow a ball quickly. This also makes theft more difficult.

Thanks to the mesh walls, the balls remain well ventilated in storage. This prevents balls from going moldy as can happen in enclosed ball racks. In addition, you can see at a glance what is in the locker. In addition, the ball rack looks tidy and orderly. Finally, balls are not just lying around in a room so they get damaged faster, get leaked or even stolen.

We list the benefits for you:

  • Fast delivery
  • Easy to assemble
  • Expansion possible
  • Neat storage

  • Theft-proof
  • Material savings
