AFC and Holland Sport Systems go for quality

From day one Holland Sport Systems was involved in the new building plans of AFC's new accommodation between all the big and tall offices on Amsterdam's Zuid-as! The question was asked if we wanted to realize the luxury dressing room equipment for the selection team, business seats on the main grandstand and mesh lockers for the storage of the soccer equipment

History of Hockey club Den Bosch

In late 1894, a group of young people from Amsterdam got the plan to establish a soccer club. On January 18, 1895, the founding meeting took place in the basement of a residence on Koninginneweg where the name "Amsterdamsche Football Club," AFC for short, was chosen. Their first ground was located between the ponds of the Vondelpark and the Oranje Nassaulaan.
On October 8, 1896, it was decided that AFC would play in the red and black colors of the city of Amsterdam (source: AFC Honderdjarenboek, Baarn 1995).

What materials were used at AFC from Amsterdam?

After multiple offers and 3D designs and years of consultation later, we unfortunately did not deliver the luxury locker room equipment. The business seats and ball lockers did! In the end we chose a sleek but simple business seast (type HSS-SPA) this is a chair high back, folding seat and armrests that have an ''upholstery'' (artificial leather) all around.

For the mesh lockers we have chosen a combination of our most sold products, the type M and type F mesh locker. The dimensions of the lockers are spacious so that not only the footballs can be stored but also, for example, water bottles, pawns or team vests. Because we also use a padlock with a 4-digit code, each team has its own locker with a personal code so that ''borrowing'' from another team is no longer possible. This results in less loss of material and the club has to buy less new balls at the beginning of the year and in this way Holland Sport Systems saves costs for the club.
